Ross D. Seymour was born in Circleville, Ohio but grew up in southern California. Ross realized his passion for acting early in life through his experience in school. After graduation Ross joined the United States Marine Corps and traveled abroad. During his 7 year stint in the military he continued to polish his acting skills "On the side" through Old west reenactments and as a professional magician.
Ross made his Hollywood debut in 2000 as a stand-in for Russell Crowe. Ross has also made his own name as an actor and has appeared in movies such as Seabiscuit, and Master & Commander, and on such shows as Charmed, Primetime Glick with Martin Short, and "The True Life Story Of Alexander The Great" for The History Channel.
Ross starred in 3 independent feature films in 2004, one of which (All That I Need) was accepted to screen at the Cannes Film Festival and showed in theaters across the US in 2005.
Ross left Hollywood in 2007 to raise his 2 sons as a single parent and, in 2022 made his come back to re-embrace his passion for film and television. Currently living in St. George, Utah, Ross volunteers his time and talents to the film program at Utah Tech and you will see him again soon. Back on the big screen!
